Ta-Nehisi Coates

Ta-Nehisi Coates is an American author and journalist who gained nationwide readership during his time as a correspondent at The Atlantic. In his work as both an author and journalist, Coates often explores Black American identity and explains the brutal ways white supremacy has affected that identity for millions of Black Americans, past and present. Through his work, he has established himself as a prominent, new, and young voice from within the modern black freedom struggle.
